What we keep about you
- Your account
- You sign in with Google. Google tells us your email address, your name, your profile picture and an account number. We never see your password, your contacts or anything else in your Google account.
- What you do here
- The products you watch, the links you paste, your plan, and how many API calls your key has made. The pages you open, and the site or link that brought you to the first one.
- Payments
- The date, the amount and the currency of each payment and refund. Card numbers stay with Stripe and never reach us.
- Messages
- What you send through the contact and removal forms, with the email address you give.
- Partners
- If you join as a partner: your name, email, where you post and where to pay you. A partner sees how many people their link brought, signed up and paid, never who they are.
Cookies
hiq_session- Keeps you signed in for 30 days.
hiq_oauth- Lasts ten minutes while you sign in with Google.
hiq_market- Remembers the market you chose.
hiq_vid- A random number that lets us count visits and see which pages and links bring people. It lasts a year.
hiq_ref- Remembers the partner whose link you followed, for 60 days.
We count visits ourselves, on our own server. There are no third-party analytics and no advertising cookies on HashIQ.
Who else handles it
- Sign-in, and the servers the site runs on, in the United States.
- Stripe
- Takes payments as the merchant of record, charges tax where it is due and issues your invoice.
- Cloudflare
- Delivers the site and sees the address your request comes from.
- Amazon Web Services
- Delivers the emails we send you about your account.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
What we use it for
To sign you in, keep your watchlist, take payment, answer you, pay partners, learn which pages and channels help people, and stop abuse of forms and the API.
Emails are about your account: a renewal or a pass that is about to end, a reply. We do not send marketing email.
How long we keep it
Your account and watchlist stay until you ask us to delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Messages you send us are kept so we can answer and follow up; ask and we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account deleted. Write to [email protected] from the address you sign in with. We answer within 30 days.
You can also remove HashIQ from your Google account at any time, and complain to your data protection authority.
Products, shops and creators shown on HashIQ
HashIQ reads public pages without logging in. What is read, how and how long it is kept is on Data sources. If a page mentions you, your shop or your content, ask for it to be removed or corrected.
Age
HashIQ is for people aged 18 and over.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change affects what we do with your account data, we tell you by email first.
